I've thought long and hard about all of the kinds of things I've wanted out of life, and all the things I've been jealous of other people for when they had what I considered "cool jobs." Don't get me wrong--I like my job now, but I feel that there is so much more I can do than I'm doing right now.
But I digress. I am now an artist, and I very much enjoy this. I have displayed creative tendencies my entire life, and have the sketch-pads to prove it! My perfect job would, therefore, involve creativity, be it graphic, textual, or perhaps even just conceptual.
I am also a die-hard computer geek. I'm not saying that I am the Goddess of Geekiness or even that I know more than, say, ye who are reading this page. What this means is that I love all things technical and have a voracious hunger to learn everything there is to know.
In this day and age, these two traits mesh beautifully into one thing: web design. It is, therefore, my goal to make a living designing web pages on some level or another.
Now, for those of you out there who are hiring for jobs like that, what kind of corporate environment do I like? Well. I like relaxed. I want to work with people who may not stumble in first thing in the morning, but who can't stand to pull themselves away from their work at night. I want to work for a company who is more concerned with what you produce than what you wear. I'd like a company that trusts me when I say I'm working from home today, call me if you need me. I profoundly believe that these traits build successful companies and nurture happy employees (but that's an argument for my politics page.)
I'd also like to make, well, more money than I'm making now. For an exact sum, references, questions, or if you'd love to call me in for an interview, please send me E-mail. I hope to be hearing from you!
